Drop & Run Pack Nearly 8 years ago, Eagle Gear began offering a safety pack with the ability to quickly detach in an emergency. We are proud to announce the third generation quick release wildland pack, appropriately named the Drop & Run Pack. Several tragedies on wildfires motivated us to develop our concept of the quick release style Wildland Packs. The patented concept of the Drop & Run pack is to enable firefighters to quickly release the main pack if an emergency should occur.
